Irritable Babies:

Lauren has a special interest in irritable babies, feeding difficulties (breast and formula), vomiting, reflux, colic, constipation/diarrhoea, abdominal pain, sub-optimal weight gain and failure to thrive, feed intolerance; Difficulties with sleep and settling; Prolonged jaundice; Neonatal skin conditions; Management of unexpected neonatal medical issues.

Neonatal Resuscitation:

Not all babies have the smooth start to life that we wish. Dr Lauren has many years of experience in attending deliveries and supporting babies in their transition to life.

Infant Nutrition and Zinc Deficiency

Growth and Development:

Delay in reaching expected milestones; Suboptimal weight gain in infancy and early childhood.

Care of the ‘NICU graduate’:

Both premature infants and babies with neonatal medical concerns who received their initial care in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Complex medical issues:

Co-ordination and Case Management of infants and children with complex medical issues, including Paediatric and Neonatal Palliative Care for newborns and infants with life threatening and life limiting conditions along with General Medical Support after Surgery
